Data You Send Directly
Search boxes on this site send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies sponsored results. We do not store a separate copy of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the message and contact details you choose to provide, and we use them to respond.
Automatic Site Data
Our hosting systems may log routine technical data such as IP address, browser type, page requested, referring page, and time of visit. We use that information in aggregate to keep the site stable, diagnose problems, and understand which Foster City record pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics or advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Data
We use visitor data to operate the site, respond to messages, improve page quality, and protect the site from abuse. We do not sell a visitor list. We do not create individualized profiles of people who use the site.
Outside Website Links
Foster City People Search links to San Mateo County ACRE, San Mateo Superior Court, Foster City pages, California agencies, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. Each outside site controls its own forms, logs, cookies, fees, and privacy rules. Data submitted to sponsored search results or government portals is governed by that outside provider or agency.
Who May Process Data
Hosting, analytics, security, and advertising service providers may process the limited technical data described above for us. We may disclose information if valid legal process requires it. Other than those operational and legal needs, we do not share visitor data.
How Data Is Protected
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and server logs are retained only as long as needed for operational purposes. Since the site has no visitor account system, it does not maintain passwords, profiles, or user dashboards.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent personal information to us, contact us and we will delete what we control.
Your Privacy Rights
California privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act and the data-broker framework in Civil Code section 1798.99.80 et seq., may give consumers rights to know, delete, correct, or opt out of certain uses of personal information. Because we hold very little, most requests involve checking contact messages and technical logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records kept by Foster City, San Mateo County, California agencies, courts, or records custodians are outside our control and must be addressed to the office that holds them.
Policy Updates
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here. Continued use of Foster City People Search after a posted change means you accept the revised policy.
